Bali has always been at the top of my list of places to visit. Aside from beach chilling and nonstop eating and drinking, a trip to Bali to me would mean a lot of exploring of the little shops and really taking in all the beautiful interiors of the smallest restaurants and coffee shops, or buying the most random things from stands. It just so happened that one of my most recent work trips brought me there, though to an area far away from Seminyak (the main area of Bali where all the happenings are). It was more secluded and private, something I also truly liked because it felt extra peaceful, and I was able to get away from the busyness of everything even just for a bit.
Bride and Breakfast visited The Mulia, Bali a few weeks back. For those wondering why we went, we got invited by The Mulia to experience the resort. We were there for three days, which was definitely not enough to take in the whole place. Our time was spent wandering around, taking photos, and eating (nonstop!). You can read about our Bride and Breakfast experience here, but I’d like to share a few tidbits and photos of the trip that I personally found interest in.
There was a lot of hesitation when Anton and I were asked if we wanted to join the Gaggan dinner for our Bangkok trip. For one, I was planning on a budget trip, with street food and Chatuchak in mind. I’m also not a big fan of Indian food, though I do enjoy some curry once in a while. Gaggan’s a degustation of progressive Indian food, and is a far cry from my street food budget. I really had to think it through.
