nail salon: cosmoluxe

I love exploring different nail salons and finding good ones I can rely on for good service and relaxing vibe. My go-to’s are Coco Nail Salon along Don Jesus Boulevard in Alabang Hills and Tips and Toes in Westgate because they have good polish, good workmanship, clean salons and are peaceful and relaxing. I’ve also tried Dashing Diva in the Fort which I really liked, but since it’s far from my place I don’t really go there often.

The other day I tried out Cosmoluxe Nail and Beauty Studio because I couldn’t get a reservation in the other two. It’s located in #13 President’s Avenue Corner Rufino Avenue, Parañaque, just right outside Tahanan Village.

Before going I decided to check some reviews online and didn’t find much, but I saw their Facebook page and the workmanship looked okay in their photos so I tried it out.

Upon entering and seeing the place I was reminded of Coco Nail Studio so I got a little excited. The vibe and decors are similar to those of Coco, piano was playing in the background, and the salon looked clean and smelled good.

I liked that they offer a wide variety of polish colors and different brands. When i called for a reservation I made sure to check because sometimes even the good salons don’t carry enough colors.

They had my favorite OPI color (the one that started my light colored polish craze)   which according to the girl there isn’t a common favorite. A must try though!

I did the basic mani-pedi for Php 280. Very affordable and I was pretty happy with the service.

They had towels on each arm of the chair, on the seat and the area where I lean my head. I liked this because given the number of people that sit there, it’s more hygenic to cover it every time someone uses it.

They still have the short massage for the hands and feet after cleaning. Some salons eliminate it or don’t have it at all.

The girls there are very friendly and they make sure you’re happy with the work. In case you want something changed (slight bubbling), they’re more than willing to redo it.

Unlike other cheap nail salons, the girls here know how to properly shape and clean the nails.

Overall, really good service at an affordable price. A new go-to for me in the BF area.

And did you know Banapple’s now open in the same building? There’s also a tea place, sandwich and burger restaurant and other eating areas, Ministop and Lay Bare. Really convenient for the Tahanan residents.

In case you would like to try it out, best to make a reservation before going.
